HDPC hearing on Jobs and Workforce Development Today

CCAC’s Allegheny Campus will be serving as the site host for Pennsylvania State Representative Jake Wheatley’s House Democratic Policy Committee hearing on Jobs and Workforce Development on Wednesday, July 23 at 2 p.m. in the Foerster Student Services Center, Auditorium Outer Area, Second Floor. President Bullock is scheduled to provide testimony during the second panel at 2:40 p.m.  Please feel free to join us for this discussion.



Enhanced security measures in place at Allegheny Campus

CCAC students, employees and visitors to CCAC’s Allegheny Campus should note the following:

     *All CCAC employees and students accessing any CCAC building are required to have a valid CCAC ID, and to show it upon request.
     *Visitors must sign-in at the CCAC Allegheny Campus Security Station located in the Physical Education Building on Legacy Way.
     *Individuals seeking admission into the K. Leroy Irvis Science Center must show proper ID.

Although CCAC continues to operate a vigilant security presence on campus, it is important for all individuals to be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior or activity to their respective campus or center Security department.



CCAC South Campus Theatre presents “Hairspray”

CCAC South Campus Theatre will present the multiple Tony-award winning musical comedy, Hairspray, July 25, 26 and 31 and August 1 and 2 at 8:00 p.m. in the campus theater. A matinee show will be offered at 2:00 p.m. on July 27. Admission is $10.00. Learn more about Hairspray.



CCAC to begin offering degree and certificate options
for its Mechatronics Technology Program

Starting this fall, CCAC will offer its Mechatronics Technology program in both associate degree and certificate options. Mechatronics integrates mechanical and electronic components with hydraulics, pneumatics and computer controls in the manufacture of industrial products. In his visit to CCAC’s West Hills Center in April, President Barack Obama touted CCAC’s program, calling it a model for the nation. Learn more.
