ITP-201 - Interpreting Sign-To-Voice (3 credits)
Prerequisite(s):
PREREQUISITES: ITP105
This course will present students with an introduction to the principles involved in sign to voice interpreting. Students will practice interpretation of American Sign Language (ASL) texts and produce appropriate spoken English equivalents. They will identify the components of effective sign-to-voice interpretation and analyze their own interpretations, as well as those of their peers, using a rubric.
