MDA-103 - Medical Assisting Seminar (2 credits)

A course which introduces the student to medical assistant technology including types of duties performed, personal qualifications, educational requirements and an orientation to the health care delivery system, including professionalism. Also emphasizes the medical assistant's role in specialized fields of medicine, patient relationships, medical law, and ethical concepts in the delivery of health care.
