MDA-208 - Medical Financial Management (3 credits)

An orientation to the theory and practical application of the knowledge, techniques, and skills encountered by the medical assistant in the management of financial affairs in a medical office. The course emphasizes the following aspects of medical office financial management: double entry bookkeeping, fees, credits, collection, billing systems, banking procedures, and payroll records and reports.
