MMT-130 - Job Safety & First Aid (1 credits)
Prerequisite(s):
None
This course covers the Occupational Safety and Health Act, job safety standards, employer/employee rights and responsibilities under OSHA, and provides information on sources of help needed to solve difficult safety and health problems. The second half of the course includes an introduction to first aid with instructions in the proper methods for treating wounds, shock, respiratory emergencies and artificial respiration, burns, and sudden illnesses.
