The Community College of Allegheny County is in the process of reconnecting with its alumni to build an active alumni program.

The CCAC Alumni Program is focused on maintaining an accurate and up-to-date alumni database in order to connect with our graduates. We have formed an Alumni Board, drafted vision and mission statements for the program and developed a strategic plan. We are examining ways to engage alumni and bring them home to the college. As we develop alumni activities, we begin to lay the foundation toward the establishment of an Alumni Association, which will offer our graduates a wide-range of benefits.

CCAC AlumNet Online Community
Alumni Affairs has launched the CCAC AlumNet Online Community in an effort to keep alumni connected with CCAC and fellow alumni. This comprehensive package of Internet-based services offers a place in cyberspace to reconnect with old friends and the college, exchange ideas and access career and networking information. Best of all, it's completely free! No matter where alumni are in the world, they can be part of the CCAC AlumNet Online Community any time, online.

On CCAC AlumNet, alumni can search for friends and classmates, update their contact information, upload a resume, read the CCAC AlumNet News and upload photos. An additional feature includes the Class Notes section where alumni can tell us and their fellow alumni about a new addition to their family, their big promotion at work or their memorable moments at CCAC.

Membership is free and open to all CCAC alumni. We encourage alumni to log-in often to receive the latest news on exciting happenings at CCAC. A registration email has been sent to all alumni with current email addresses. Alumni who have not recently updated their email addresses, or have changed their email addresses, can update their information by visiting Update Your Alumni Contact Information.

CCAC Alumni on Facebook
In addition to the CCAC AlumNet Online Community, Alumni Affairs also maintains an alumni profile on Facebook, a popular social networking website. For alumni who are already Facebook users, or those who are interested in registering for Facebook and adding CCAC as a friend, please visit the CCAC Alum profile on Facebook.
 
CCAC AlumLinks Online Mentoring Network
We have partnered with CCAC Career Services to offer alumni the opportunity to serve as mentors for current CCAC student learners. For alumni who would like to volunteer as a mentor, please visit the CCAC AlumLinks Online Mentoring Network.
