The CCAC Workforce Fast Tracks short term training program is a series of certificate, diploma and training courses designed to train or retrain individuals to enter the workforce in six months or less. Program offerings are specifically designed to offer four key benefits:
Students must commit to completing the program within the advertised time frames for maximum benefit. Offerings include onsite, web-enhanced and online teaching formats, with programs launching spring 2010 and different programs being offered beginning in summer and fall terms.

EMT Emergency Medical Technician
This 152-hour course will include all lessons of the National Standard Curriculum for EMTs including human systems, medical emergencies, CPR, trauma and environmental emergencies.
Nurse Aide Training
This 24-day program will instruct nurse aide students in their role in long-term patient care. Learning is conducted under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and offers a comprehensive approach to skill areas within the parameters of individualized interdisciplinary care.

This 28-hour program (plus free exam prep) will qualify the learner for a CCAC certificate of completion and 2.8 continuing education units (CEUs) for the operation of wastewater treatment plant components and equipment and may aid students as they sit for the DEP Part 1 General Exam for Wastewater Operators.
Drinking Water Operator Certificate Program
This 26-hour program (plus free exam prep) will qualify the learner for a CCAC certificate of completion and 2.6 continuing education units (CEUs) for the operation of drinking water treatment plant components and equipment and may aid students as they sit for the DEP Part 1 General Exam for Drinking Water Operators.

This 4-hour exam prep course is for learners interested in taking the DEP Part 1 General Exam for Drinking Water.
