This program prepares you to be an electronics technician by performing repairs, maintenance, development and testing of computer systems. The microcomputer technician is skilled in assembly level programs and higher level languages, electronic operations of computers, interfacing techniques and peripheral devices.
Graduates may find employment as a field services technician, computer repair technician, research and development technician, or electronics technician.
