This program is designed for persons in human service or related professions who have had little or no formal instruction in social work.
Students learn good interviewing skills and study social problems, leadership, and learn about resources in the community that can be used to assist clients.
Applicants should want to work with people in need of public or private welfare services. Students may continue in a degree program.
