Colleague: Datatel Administrative Software

One System for All Business Functions

Colleague is CCAC's business enterprise system, developed by Datatel, Inc., which is used to manage major administrative functions across the College.  It is supported by the ITS Development Services group.

Security, access and monitoring procedures are in place to ensure the continued integrity of administrative data.

  • About Colleague IDs and passwords: Find information about requesting a Colleague ID, requesting changes to Colleague security, and changing your password.
  • Training and Documentation: Learn more about classroom workshops, online training and documentation for Colleague.
  • Data Owners: These College administrations are responsible for first-level support of the software, and for granting user access to the software.
  • Job Requests: Users can submit requests for reports, mailing lists and labels.

A component of the Colleague software is a product called CCAC Central, which provides web-based student and faculty access to their records in the Colleague database.

The web accessible Administrative Reporting Center (ARC) provides a web-based reporting system to facilitate administrative decision-making related to student progress, productivity and efficiency analyses, and financial analyses.

Other Web Applications and Integration

Web applications and customized programs are developed to further the operations and business of College departments.  Applications include Appointment Central, Master Syllabi, Survey of Student Opinion, etc.

Requesting Development Services

To request a departmental report, system change, application change or any other support service, please work through the appropriate Colleague data owner.  Data owners should submit their request by email to ITS-Development@ccac.edu.
