Employees who must input data, retrieve information or submit approvals for any of the following processes must have a Datatel account to access the system:

• Class schedules, student inquiries, admissions applications, financial aid recording, registrations, payments, grading and transcripts
• Purchasing requests, budget lookups, vouchers
• Personnel records and payroll stipends

Datatel Colleague System Security

Colleague users are given security access to a wealth of information about students. Security, access and monitoring procedures are in place to ensure the continued integrity of administrative data. Users need to understand and abide by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 in regards to the release of student information.  

Faculty or staff who do not need to enter data, run inquiries or reports directly from the system may use CCAC Central to retrieve rosters, search for classes, view vacation time balances, etc. Those staff who need to only view their own information via CCAC Central do not need a Datatel account.

Change your Datatel, CCAC Central and ARC passwords

In order to ensure network security, integrity and to safeguard CCAC data and business matters, the College policy requires you to change your Colleague password every ninety (90) days.
