Learn about the physical, psychological and legal issues involved when driving an emergency vehicle. The Pennsylvania Department of Health requires formal instruction for the drivers of ambulances. This is NOT a course on "hot" pursuit, but rather education on the safety and skills necessary to maneuver these vehicles including a custom obstacle course to simulate field situations.
Students will be required to complete both the classroom portion of the course and a timed driving course.

PREREQUISITE: Valid Driver's License. Each Student MUST provide an ambulance or Fire apparatus for use during the driving portion of the course.
