Fundamental Element #1: certificate programs that have clearly articulated expectations of student learning and that are designed , approved, administered, and periodically evaluated under established institutional procedures;

1. How effective are CCAC’s certificate programs in articulating how and what students will learn, and what employment opportunities will be available to them upon completion of their certificate programs?
2. How often and on what basis are certificate programs evaluated?
3. How are the outcomes of these evaluations used to make changes?
4. What evidence is there that graduates of certificate programs have the knowledge, skills, and competency levels necessary for success?
5. How do graduates of  CCAC’s certificate programs perform when national testing or certification exists? How does CCAC respond to recommendations from national agencies?
