Student editor, writer, photographer and advertising sales are just some of the various student positions at the Allegheny View. Students are encouraged to get involved and contribute! For more information contact adviser Christine McQuaide and View staff members at 412.237.4632
Each year, the Student Life office publishes a club directory, listing descriptions of the groups created for and by CCAC Allegheny Campus students. From the business club to the student government, you'll find our friendly and diverse campus has a club with just your interests in mind. Stop by our office and pick up your club directory today!
A directory listing can also be found on the Clubs and Organizations pages.
Many of our clubs and organizations sponsor community service events throughout the year. For example, we coordinate Blood Drives each semester and Scouting for Food in April. Our coordinator for these projects is Gaina Miklusko, who can be reached at 412.237.6541.
The Campus Activities Board for Student Life is comprised of students, faculty and administrators who work together to bring a wide variety of cultural programming to the campus each year. Local and nationally-known authors, musicians, actors and speakers have appeared at Allegheny Campus through the sponsorship of the Campus Activities Board.
Student participation on the board is critical. The board meets at 2:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in West Hall, B10. Meetings are open to students and staff who wish to attend, and anyone can make a proposal. If you are interested in joining the board, or if you want to suggest a program or performer that you would like to see, contact Gaina Miklusko, who can be reached at 412.237.6541.
