The Geriatrics program prepares you to work as a caregiver or activities coordinator in nursing homes, personal care homes and other settings with the elderly. CPR and first aid training is required by most employers in addition to these courses. If administration is your goal, personal care home administrators training should be taken in addition to these courses.

Upon completion of this program, graduates may seek employment as a recreation supervisor in an assisted living facility, a geriatric aid, a senior living facilities manager or as a geriatric social worker.
