With the growth of the web and the addition of new technologies such as CSS and the pervasiveness of Flash animations, there is a need for artists schooled in the technologies of the Web.  This certificate offers artistic individuals with computer skills an opportunity to be exposed to some of the newest technologies used in Web design and development.

Graduates of this program will be able to work side-by-side with more technically oriented individuals in developing useful and provocative Web sites for their employers.  Graduates will be qualified to work as Web designers for Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Sales Departments, and also for Web design firms, publishers, and animation studios.
