Professor, Counselor, and Librarian

This classification of employee is covered by the AFT (American Federation of Teachers) Union contract.  They are considered exempt from wage and hour laws requiring payment of overtime.

Pay Frequency

• Monthly - 12 pays per year

• Payday is the last working day of the month

Pay Types

• 10-month Salary paid over 12 month

• 12 month Salaried

Educational Technician

This classification of employee is covered by the AFT (American Federation of Teachers) Union contract.  Additionally, these employees are non-exempt; therefore also subject to payment of overtime after 40 hours.

Pay Frequency

• Semi-Monthly - 24 pays per year
• Payday is the 15th and last working day of the month

Pay Types

• 10-month Salary (with overtime) paid over 24 pays
• 12 month Salary (with overtime) paid over 24 pays
• Overtime pay is included in the 2nd pay of the month
