eACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
This web based ACLS Provider Course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) cardiac arrest. Providers will learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: a respiratory emergency, four types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA and asystole), or four type of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes) and stroke. Upon successful completion of this Internet program, the student will be eligible for the eACLS Practical Skills Evaluation. To receive an ECSI Certification Card, the student must complete both the online module YXB 401 and the practical skills test YXB 402 (administered by appointment.) Please call PSI at 412.237.2500 to obtain an online course access code or to schedule a skill evaluation after registeration.
