A growing college relies on effective communications to both inform the community of institutional change and development and respond to the need for information.
The award winning CCAC Promotions and Marketing department, a part of Institutional Advancement, promotes the college and its activities through strategic, cost-effective advertising and marketing campaigns, college publications and overall branding efforts, among other activities. The department oversees the public face of the college, providing design, branding and message development assistance to projects large and small. The Promotions and Marketing department also provides review and oversight to ensure that communications representing the college include accurate and correct information regarding the college and its constituencies.
The department publishes the CCAC Graphic Standards & Style Guide, which leads the graphic and writing standards for the publications and marketing efforts of the college. Promotions and Marketing also maintains a digital database of images of students and faculty members to be used in upcoming advertising campaigns and marketing materials. Use of these photographic images requires a photo and video release form on file; completed release forms may be returned to the marketing secretary.
Department staff members work closely with faculty and administrators to effectively market new programs, initiatives and special events. To accomplish this, the award-winning team writes, designs and produces visual materials such as signage and event announcements, manages traditional print, radio, outdoor and television advertising campaigns and maintains the college's electronic presence through the CCAC website and other media. Numerous college-wide publications, including the enrollment steps & application, the Annual Report and hundreds of other fact sheets, brochures and items providing information on the college are also written, designed and produced by the department.
