Purpose

Through the CCAC—Allegheny County Workforce Alliance and the Workforce Development divisions, the Career Transition Center for Dislocated Workers has created and implemented a process to address the state’s Rapid Response initiative for handling displaced workers in Allegheny County via the Dislocated Worker Tuition Waiver Program. More specifically, the center has:

• Implemented workflow processes for both employer and individual inquiries and
• Established a single Point of Contact through a dedicated number for handling inquiries.
