This certificate is a short-term training program designed to offer students an opportunity to acquire basic skills to assist with installation and repairs of plumbing systems in residences and small buildings. Many plumbers are self-employed; however, this is a profession that typically requires a long period of on-the-job experience for plumbers to be fully qualified and licensed. Students who complete the certificate have the option of applying their plumbing certificate credits toward an associate degree in General Studies at CCAC.
