In his second season as president of the Pittsburgh Penguins, David Morehouse presides over a team that has sold-out over 100 games in a row, has the most viewed NHL team website in the US and enjoys local television ratings that are the highest in franchise history. Under his leadership, the Penguins have become known for their drive and innovation—setting new standards for the application of cutting-edge technology as they prepare to transition into the new Consol Energy Center.
After graduating from CCAC with an AS in General Studies, he went on to earn a master’s degree from the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government. During much of the 1990s, he spent time at the Pentagon and on Capitol Hill, including working in the Clinton–Gore White House where he served as senior consultant to Vice President Al Gore from 1999 to 2001. In his career to date, Morehouse has worked on four presidential campaigns.
