PITTSBURGH— The Community College of Allegheny County will host the Native American performers Fast Horses next week in honor of Native American History Month. CCAC’s North and South campus Departments of Student Life collaborated to bring the world-renowned traveling family troupe to students and the public free of charge.

Members of the group will perform:

  • from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 2 in the North campus Atrium at 8701 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh (McCandless), 15237.
  • from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 2 in the South campus Auditorium at 1750 Clairton Road (Route 885), West Mifflin, 15122.

The Fast Horses is a family group of members of the Lakota Nation from Minnesota. They have been performing since 1998, and their tour has traversed three continents, six countries, 44 states and three provinces. Their act has been described as high-energy, funny, fast-paced and guaranteed to fire up people’s imaginations. More information about the Fast Horses can be found at www.thefasthorses.com.
