ITS: CCAC Central Common Problems

Timeout: remember that CCAC Central will time-out after 15 minutes of non-activity. This is done to provide a secure site for faculty who are submitting confidential information and students who are submitting financial information. Faculty should have their grading information organized before submitting grades to avoid timing out during grade submission.

To avoid problems or errors while browsing in a secure site:

  • DO NOT use your browser's back or forward button to navigate through screens. Use the menu choices.
  • DO NOT close windows to move back; click Submit or OK buttons to move forward.
  • ONLY hit the Submit key ONCE to avoid making errors or duplicate payments.

Read error messages: Error messages will appear at the top of the screen in red text; read these messages to determine what the problem is.

Other Tips if CCAC Central e-Services does not function correctly:

  • Shut down all browser windows and restart your browser from scratch (or even reboot the PC).
  • Delete your temporary internet files.
  • Check that your browser must have Javascript enabled and be set to accept cookies.
  • Turn off pop-up blockers from your browser software.
  • If you have the Google toolbar installed turn off that pop-up blocker as well.
  • Make https://ccaccentral.ccac.edu/ a trusted site.
  • Set the “Security level for this zone” to low.
  • The minimum supported resolution is 1024x768.
