Information about newsworthy events is always welcome from employees and students. Send an email request to Public Relations with the basic information covered in a press release—who, what, where, when and why. Include key contact information (telephone, email) and any costs associated with an event.
A minimum one-week lead time is generally required for coverage in daily print pieces (two weeks for events calendar listings), while monthly publications typically require a month or more of notice due to publication deadlines. Please plan accordingly.
