PITTSBURGH—The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) Women’s Council will host a scholarship fundraiser on Thursday, December 9 at 5:00p.m. at the CCAC–Allegheny Campus, Byers Hall, 800 Ridge Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. The goal of the event is to raise money for tuition assistance for female students in need.
Funds are raised through the $5 admittance fee and a Chinese auction. Last year, the “Deck the Halls” event raised nearly $3,000 to put towards scholarships.
The CCAC Women’s Council embraces culture, learning and professional development. It strives to foster an environment of mutual respect and collaborations with departments and committees within the college while establishing liaisons with external agencies and organizations that further the goals of CCAC and women at the college.
