03/15/2011 -- CCAC–Boyce Campus hosts Financial Aid Workshops for new students

PITTSBURGH—The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC)–Boyce Campus will hold an information night and financial aid workshops on Thursday, April 14 in the Admissions area.  Participants may choose one of two sessions: 4:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m. 

Sessions will include important topics for prospective students:

  • Scholarships and how to apply for them
  • How to apply for financial aid for a CCAC education
  • Understanding and completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

The FAFSA deadline for state grant money is May 1. To receive assistance in completing the FAFSA, students and/or parents are asked to bring their 2010 federal tax returns as well as request a PIN number prior to the event.  Please visit for more information regarding the FAFSA.
