PITTSBURGH—The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) Women’s Council will host the sixth annual “Deck Your Halls” scholarship fundraiser from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, at Byers Hall, CCAC–Allegheny Campus on the North Shore. The goal of the event is to raise money for scholarships for female students in need.
Funds are raised through the $5 admittance fee and a Chinese auction. Last year, the “Deck Your Halls” event raised nearly $3,000 for scholarships.
The CCAC Women’s Council embraces culture, learning and professional development. It strives to foster an environment of mutual respect and collaborations with departments and committees within the college while establishing liaisons with external agencies and organizations that further the goals of CCAC and women at the college.
For more information about the “Deck Your Halls” event, please contact Mary Jo Guercio at 412.237.2723 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Admission and separate auction tickets will be available at the door. Hors d’oeuvres and light refreshments will be served.
