PITTSBURGH—On March 1, the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on home court in a charity basketball game benefitting the Pittsburgh Promise Club.
Trading in their football pads and cleats for headbands and high tops, past and present players of the Pittsburgh Steelers will face a CCAC team comprised of current students, faculty and staff. Open to members of the public, the game tips off at 8:00 p.m. in the CCAC–Allegheny Campus gymnasium. Besides the chance to purchase food and tickets for a 50/50 raffle, the game offers fans the opportunity to meet the players and seek autographs during the game’s halftime show.
Tickets are $7 and may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Student Accounts offices at each campus (for locations, visit www.ccac.edu, search keywords “student accounts offices”. The game will take place in the CCAC–Allegheny Campus gymnasium located in the Physical Education Building, 808 Ridge Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
