Geriatric workforce training for long-term care nursing home employees (i.e. care for the fragile elderly). Training is accomplished through workshops, speaker series and mandatory in-service training days for employees of Kane Hospitals. The program also has the goal of increasing diversity within the health care field and has funding to train a cohort of Hispanic individuals for positions as Nurse Aides.
