The federal government put out a call for proposals for programs that would provide students with family sustaining wages. Pennsylvania Community Colleges joined forces and submitted one proposal. From that proposal, which was funded, CCAC received funding to enhance the Mechatronics program developed through previously awarded grants. In addition to expanding the Mechatronics program, the TAACCCT grant will also be adding a new program in Natural Gas. Currently, the program is a noncredit program; however, eventually, it may become a credit program.
