Rex L. Crawley, PhD, serves at Robert Morris University (RMU) as assistant dean, School of Communications and Information Systems; endowed chair, Uzuri Think Tank; and professor, Communication. He brings to the CCAC Board of Trustees a wealth of experience on matters relating to intercultural and interpersonal communication, Black masculinity and diversity management.
He also serves on the board of the August Wilson Arts and Cultural Center, chairs the RMU Council on Institutional Equity, is founding co-director of the Black Male Leadership Development Institute and is co-committee chair of the African American Achievement Trust.
Dr. Crawley holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a master’s in Public Administration and a doctorate in Interpersonal Communication, all earned from The Ohio State University.
