The Community College of Allegheny County is a multi-campus institution serving the residents of southwest Pennsylvania with four campuses and five educational centers serving the city of Pittsburgh and all of Allegheny County. CCAC is the largest community college in the state of Pennsylvania and provides transfer and career programs as well as online offerings and other educational opportunities. The college provides educational opportunities to 63,000 students annually, served by more than 2,200 faculty and staff. CCAC is an Achieving the Dream Leader College committed to student success and completion. The college recently completed a major comprehensive campaign in the amount of $41 million. They have an active Foundation with an endowment of $8 million.
The city of Pittsburgh was recently named “America's Most Livable City” and is consistently ranked among the top 20 major metropolitan areas in the country.
