About the Robert M. Mill Lecture Series
Pittsburgh Labor & Management Past & Future: A Labor-Management Discussion embodies a series of two to three-hour interactive sessions designed to enhance the understanding and recognition of the large role labor unions and labor relations have played in forming our great region.
Recognizing Robert M. Mill (’73 & ’98), a champion of the benefits of accessible education and an ardent supporter of union needs, the Robert M. Mill Lecture Series sets the stage for open communication between all who will benefit from a future of positive labor-management relations and economic development in western Pennsylvania. Mill has received multiple college awards, including being named a 1998 CCAC Lifetime Legend and, with wife Candace, being recognized as 2009 CCAC Distinguished Alumni and Friends.
