PITTSBURGH—Community College of Allegheny County is hosting Passport to Success, an enrollment workshop series designed to help potential students get information about CCAC, the enrollment process and all aspects of college life. “Meet Your Travel Companions—CCAC Student Panel” will be offered Wednesday, February 26; “Ask for Directions—CCAC Orientation” will be offered Thursday, March 20; and “Meet Your Tour Guide—Advisement & Registration” will be offered Wednesday, April 23. All three sessions will be take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at all four CCAC campus locations.  

Each workshop explores in-depth a topic relevant to those considering a college education. For this month’s “Meet Your Travel Companions—CCAC Student Panel” session, CCAC students and other members of the CCAC community will provide information about college life, including insight into what occurs on a daily basis at a CCAC campus.

For March’s “Ask for Directions—CCAC Orientation” session, CCAC policies and procedures will be discussed, and individuals will be given the opportunity to take a campus tour. The series concludes with April’s “Meet Your Tour Guide—Advisement & Registration” session which will cover the advisement process including how to select and register for classes; how to transfer credits to CCAC; and for those interested in obtaining additional educational credentials, how to plan for transferring to a four-year institution.
