PITTSBURGH—The Community College of Allegheny County is presenting a free informational session on Wednesday, April 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Iceoplex at Southpointe in Canonsburg for potential students and their families interested in learning more about the college’s Washington County Center, its programs and the services CCAC offers to support individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities. Topics covered include admission procedures, supportive services options, tutoring services and other forms of assistance.

Individuals will have the opportunity to meet with staff from the college’s Supportive Services for Students with Disabilities office and representatives from the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. Located at each of the college’s four campuses, CCAC’s Supportive Services for Students with Disabilities offices help more than 2,000 students with disabilities meet their educational goals annually.
