on planned East-West project
CCAC is holding free information sessions regarding the college’s East-West project, a new initiative designed to enable individuals to attend CCAC’s West Hills Center to train for high-demand jobs, while providing free transportation, support services and coaching in a team environment. Join us Monday, August 25 at the CCAC Braddock Hills Center at 5:00 p.m.

CCAC kicks off “The Big Read in Pittsburgh”
with October 7 event
Jonathan R. Eller, PhD, director of the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Center for Ray Bradbury Studies, will be the keynote speaker at CCAC’s kickoff for The Big Read in Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, October 7, at 6:30 p.m. at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Main Library in Oakland. Focusing on Bradbury’s novel Fahrenheit 451, this free event will feature a dance presentation by CCAC students, music by Sounds of Steel and refreshments. Learn more.
Enhanced security measures in place at Allegheny Campus
CCAC students, employees and visitors to CCAC’s Allegheny Campus should note the following:
*All CCAC employees and students accessing any CCAC building are required to have a valid CCAC ID, and to show it upon request.
*Visitors must sign-in at the CCAC Allegheny Campus Security Station located in the Physical Education Building on Legacy Way.
*Individuals seeking admission into the K. Leroy Irvis Science Center must show proper ID.
Although CCAC continues to operate a vigilant security presence on campus, it is important for all individuals to be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior or activity to their respective campus or center Security department.
