| Description: |
EBSCO has licensed materials to improve the visual content of
its Web-based reference databases. Over 10,000 photographs,
licensed from Archive Photo, have been added to EBSCO's
collection of images. In addition to these photos, EBSCO has
added a library of over 1,000 U.S. and world maps supplied by
MapQuest. This additional, graphical content will allow researchers
to gain a visual interpretation of articles, including
those articles that otherwise would not contain images. EBSCO
makes these maps and photographs accessible through
authority files and hyperlinks from within the EBSCOhost
databases or directly through Image Collections.
