- A listing of America's largest Corporations. This website permits you to view these companies by company revenue, CEO (Chief executive officer) Industry, and alphabetically by company name. Information for each company may be viewed as well.
- NAICS -- North American Industry Classification System
- "The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is replacing the U.S. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system. NAICS will reshape the way we view our changing economy." (site introduction) Includes an SIC-NAICS conversion table and links to selected government reports that use the new NAICS system.

- Database of information on more than 50,000 of the largest or fastest-growing public and private U. S. companies. While there is considerable information that is available only to subscribers, Hoover's provides considerable information to all internet users. Information provided includes company address, number of employees, key people, financial data, news items selected web links, securities and Exchange Commission filings, and current stock prices.

- Price's List of Lists
- An excellent directory for locating many "Best of…" lists available on the internet. The lists are arranged under Business, Education, Entertainment, Living, Politics, and Science. Most of the entries fall under the Business heading which is subdivided by everything from advertising to telemarketing. One example of the many lists is " Best Companies to Work for in America."

- SEC Filings & Forms (EDGAR)
- All companies, foreign and domestic, are required to file registration statements, periodic reports and other forms through EDGAR. This information can be accessed and downloaded for free.
- Thomas Register of American Manufacturers
- A Directory of 170,000 U. S. and Canadian companies. Print version may be more useful. Search by product category, company or brand name. Registration (free) is required although there is a provision for guests to search. They have also made their Food Industry Register, Regional Business Directories and Register of European Manufacturers available.
