- AdmiNet World Government Page
- Comprehensive metasite for finding information on countries of the world. Information for each country covers art, culture, education, environment, politics and government, and more. Includes links to embassies, consulates and other official government sites.
- Allegheny County Web Site
- This site is a gateway to Allegheny County government, including all of its departments and services, telephone directories and calendars of events. Of special interest is the county's real estate Web site that provides financial information on county properties and their owners. Also available on this site are a variety of forms and applications, including the Property Appeals Form for the new assessments.
- Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Provides links to the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the state government as well as state agencies and services. Also includes links to local governments. The new design "makes it even easier to find what you're looking for" under the headings Live, Work, Play, and Learn.
- Economic Report of the President
- "The Economic Report of the President is an annual report written by the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors. It overviews the nation's economic progress using text and extensive data appendices." Reports are archived from 1995 and searchable from 1996.
- Pennsylvania Manual Online
- The Pennsylvania Manual is a complete compendium of state government information. It provides data and statistics on state programs and institutions, with information and biographical profiles for the legislative, executive, and judicial branches, as well as detailed local government listings. Older editions are archived. Searchable by section, and within sections by links to specific PDF files.
- Supreme Court of the United States
- The official site of the U.S. Supreme Court. Provides information about the court, its history, and the justices; the calendar, docket, opinions, and oral arguments are also included. Supreme Court Files and Docket Files are searchable; many files are PDF format.

- State and Local Government on the Net
- Find state and local government sites here. Search engine is limited. To use the site effectively, it helps to know something of the government's structure. For example, to locate the Pennsylvania State Nursing Board: Select Pennsylvania from the main list. Once in the PA site, select in order Department of State--Professional Licensing--Board Web Pages--State Board of Nursing.
