- From the University of Michigan Documents Center. Links to sites containing primary documents related to current news stories, social issues, government regulations and budgetary matters, and international events. Archived back through 1995. Uses Google search engine.
- International Crisis Group
- Provides background reports on international current events. Focused on events in Africa, the Balkans, the Middle East and Central Asia. Includes Crisis Watch, a free online "monthly bulletin designed to provide busy readers in the policy community, media, business and interested general public with a succinct regular update on the state of play in all the most significant situations of conflict or potential conflict around the world." Articles, op-eds, speeches and media releases can be found under the Media section. Full reports are PDF files that require the Acrobat Reader plugin. ICG is a private multinational organization based in Brussels.
