International Crisis Group
Provides background reports on international current events. Focused on events in Africa, the Balkans, the Middle East and Central Asia. Includes Crisis Watch, a free online "monthly bulletin designed to provide busy readers in the policy community, media, business and interested general public with a succinct regular update on the state of play in all the most significant situations of conflict or potential conflict around the world." Articles, op-eds, speeches and media releases can be found under the Media section. Full reports are PDF files that require the Acrobat Reader plugin. ICG is a private multinational organization based in Brussels.

This office issues regular reports that provide data on terrorism. Reports published before January 20, 2001 are available at an archival site.
