There are over 500 links covering biology, biotechnology, microbiology, genetics, evolution, plant biology, space biology, conservation, etc. on this site. There is a link to monthly updates in each category from the main page.
Botany

This is an easy to navigate site which provides an alphabetic approach to an online manual designed for introductory biology students. Brief definitions and essays cover all areas of the discipline, but the site is particularly strong in cellular and molecular biology.
On-Line Biology Book
This site is hosted by Estrella Mountain Community College in Arizona, and offers text items from the modified lecture outlines of Michael Farabee, PhD., developed over many years of teaching college-level introductory Biology. Use of the text items for educational purposes is encouraged; however, image use requires permission for use from the company or source.
