- Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change
- A non-profit organization dedicated to the study of global warming. Format is a weekly newsletter consisting largely of reviews of scientific publications. Reviews are clearly written and informative with complete references to the original source.
- Ecological Regions of North America
- Defines 15 ecological regions of North America. Click on the map to get surface area, descriptions of the physical and biological settings, and human activities. Beautifully illustrated.
- Environmental Protection Update
- Online newsletter of the PA Department of Environmental Protection. Provides news stories from various sources on environmental issues, initiatives, legislation, etc. Back issues from 2005 through the present are searchable by date as well as by subject.
- Pew Center on Global Climate Change
- Founded in 1998, the Pew Center on Global Climate Change is a non-profit, non-partisan, independent organization, whose mission "is to provide credible information, straight answers, and innovative solutions in the effort to address global climate change." This site provides reports and fact sheets on Science & Impacts, Technology Solutions, and Economics, as well as an excellent introduction under Global Warming Basics.
