- Genetics Home Reference: Your Guide to Understanding Genetic Conditions
- A service of the National Library of Medicine providing consumer information on genetic conditions. Basic information on how genes work, genetic disorders, consultation, testing, gene therapy, and the Human Genome Project can be found by clicking the Handbook link. This site also contains a glossary and provides links to other resources.
- Learn.Genetics: Genetic Science Learning Center
- Provides interactive and print-based resources on topics in genetics and bioscience. In addition to covering the "Basics and Beyond," topics include a virtual laboratory, stem cells, cloning, gene therapy, genetic disorders, and addiction. There are also feature stories and podcasts.
- National Center for Biotechnology Information
- Sponsored by the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Heath.
