- Especially useful to students are the links to Physics Today and the History Center. Physics Today is a monthly journal of the Institute featuring authoritative articles, news stories and analyses. The Center for History of Physics page contains links to award-winning exhibits and online source material.

- "An archive presenting and documenting some important and original contributions made before 1976 by 20th Century women." Contains descriptions of the contributions as well as the original papers reporting the discoveries; historical essays and other historical documents; photos and quotations.
- Imagine the Universe
- A service of the High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (NASA), this Web site presents information about astronomy and astrophysics at both high school and college levels.
