• CCAC Faculty & Staff Professional Development

Professional development is a blend of self-awareness, skills improvement, meaningful knowledge availability, and a caring attitude. By creating a varied and robust offering of experiences, we hope to support and coach each employee to grow in respect and competency.

Faculty and staff can see a full slate of professional development opportunities by visiting the Learning Communities through the MyCCAC portal.  Use the calendar to find Instructor Led sessions on location or search for on-demand courses and resources.

To submit professional and academic accomplishments in the last 12 months, go to the Human Resources home page in the MyCCAC portal and download and complete the Employee Recognition form for electronic submission to the Human Resources department.

    NISOD Excellence in Teaching Awards

NISOD's Excellence Awards recognize exceptional faculty members each year who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment and contribution to their students and colleagues. Excellence Award recipients will be celebrated during NISOD's annual International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence, May 25-28, in Austin, Texas. During the Excellence Awards Dinner and Celebration, held in conjunction with NISOD's annual conference, each Excellence Award recipient receives a specially cast, pewter medallion hung on a burnt-orange ribbon.

The National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) is a membership organization committed to promoting and celebrating excellence in teaching, learning, and leadership at community and technical colleges.
