• Middle States Accreditation

Community College of Allegheny County has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education since 1970. “The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is a voluntary, non-governmental, membership association that is dedicated to quality assurance and improvement through accreditation via peer evaluation. Middle States accreditation instills public confidence in institutional mission, goals, performance, and resources through its rigorous accreditation standards and their enforcement.” [1]

In November of 2011 MSCHE accepted CCAC’s Periodic Review Report, reaffirmed accreditation, and commended CCAC for progress to date and for the quality of the report. CCAC’s next Self-Study Evaluation is scheduled for 2016 – 2017.
