High school students, parents, community members and local businesses invited to participate.
PITTSBURGH-Community College of
Allegheny County's West Hills Center is inviting high school
students, parents, community members and local businesses
to Manufacturing Day 2017 on Wednesday, October
24, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Manufacturing
Day is an international event where thousands of

to take guided facility tours, participate in hands-on mechatronics
and welding demonstrations, learn about educational opportunities
that offer an edge in a competitive market, and engage college and
business leaders in a discussion about manufacturing careers.
County executive Rich Fitzgerald will welcome attendees to the
event and will kick off the panel discussion.
CCAC's Workforce Development
division will also hold interactive demonstrations for
representatives from local industries so they can see firsthand how
the division can provide advanced training opportunities for
companies and employees.
