CCAC ready to help Art Institute students complete their education

PITTSBURGH-The Community College of Allegheny County, in response to the sudden closure of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh on Friday, March 8, is working to accommodate Art Institute students to enable them to complete their educational and career goals.

Two informational sessions will be offered for all former Art Institute of Pittsburgh students at CCAC Allegheny Campus on Thursday, March 14, on the first floor of Jones Hall, 808 Ridge Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212. The first session will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will include a free lunch; the second session will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will include a free dinner-both meals will be provided by CCAC's Culinary Arts Department. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet Associate Professor Art Inzinga and Adjunct Faculty Roger Levine; both chefs are former faculty members of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Allegheny Campus Admissions staff and academic advisors will also be on hand to talk about how former Art Institute students may seamlessly transfer to CCAC.   • Industrial Art and Design - available at Allegheny Campus
  • Multimedia Programming, Simulation & Gaming - available at North Campus
