CCAC North Campus to host presentation by Darieth Chisolm on surviving cybersexual assault

PITTSBURGH-Community College of Allegheny County's North Campus will host a presentation by Darieth Chisolm titled "The Courage to Find and Own Your Voice: Surviving Cybersexual Assault" on Tuesday, March 13, in Room 3002 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Chisolm is an Emmy Award-winning television personality and former WPXI-TV news anchor, author, businesswoman, public speaker and life coach. A victim of cybersexual assault, she has launched a website and advocacy organization, 50 Shades of Silence, to bring attention to the issue and press for legal change. 

The CCAC presentation is sponsored by the North Campus chapter of Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for community colleges; North Campus Student Life; and the North Campus Well-Being & Safety Education Team.

The event is open to the public and the media, including still/video cameras. CCAC North Campus is located at 8701 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
